Bread has by far been the most favorite breakfast in my household. With a variety of scrumptious spreads, succulent meat and scrambled eggs that you can add to your toast, this is what we all enjoy eating as a family. But that’s where my job gets huge- making a whole lot of toast every morning, with multiple levels of browning and crumbs, as per my loved ones’ whims and fancies. And so, on a few hurry-burry days, I just thrust porridge on them all!

This was until I met ‘Mr. Hamilton’ (as we like to affectionately call my toaster). My wonderful husband bought this Hamilton Beach SmartToast 4-Slice Toaster as a present from California, and since then getting breakfast ready has been as simple as tanning on the beach. For a start, it has 4 slots making it twice as fast as the typical toaster. It also has 2 separate temperature controls, so we can brown our toast however we like it. My kids love this feature best, as 2 of them can assemble their own plates side by side the way they want. When my children actually enjoy helping out with breakfast, I honestly feel life doesn’t get any better.

Another reason why I let them use it, is because Mr. Hamilton is very, very safe. It has an auto shut-off feature and a cool-touch exterior, ensuring no one burns their bread or their fingers! With a removable crumb tray and a smooth chrome finish, this contraption is unbelievably easy to clean!

Oh and did I tell you, you can make bagels too! There’s a feature setting that actually lets you toast the inside while warming the outside, giving you a perfect, crumbly and tasty bagel. I find this is the best breakfast buddy ever, so go ahead and get one too!
